Social Justice

At St. Bricin’s College, we have a proud tradition of involvement in social justice initiatives, like the Team Hope Shoebox Appeal, and advocating for the protection of human dignity and the promotion of human rights. Through their participation, students develop their knowledge of social issues, use their voice to advocate for others, and organise activities to raise awareness or fundraise for chosen projects. Our Student Council plan fundraisers for local, national and international charities throughout the year, raising over €2,000 in 2024-25. Some of the charities include;

  • Down Syndrome Ireland
  • SOSAD
  • Pieta House
  • Temple Street
  • Children’s Hospital
  • Trocaire
  • SVP
  • Irish Cancer Society
  • Cuan
  • CAPs
